1. Ir Filter Technology

It mean the green laser beam of our green lasers only give out the green laser light, but never give out non-532nm wavelengths. However, shoddy lasers mostly give out infrared light, which, as invisible as always, cannot be easily seen by human eyes but very easily damage the eyes.
This can explain why our green laser beam seems to be more bright and intense than most shoddy lasers. Speaking of laser safety, the shoddy lasers without adding ir filters can damage the human eyes when they're not aware of it at all when they operate the laser. With shoddy lasers, wearing the goggles that fits perfectly for blocking 532nm goggles are meaningless. You're hurt by the laser whenever and wherever you use it, anyway.

2. Solid Casings
Don't judge any laser by its look. Feel it. You will find that the casings of some shoddy lasers are very fragile, not solid at all. For portability's sake, the casings of our laser pointers are made of copper, silver or annealled alloys. The casings for Pioneer series, Volunteer series and other laser torches are all made of hard aluminum, wear-resisting and weather-proof, solid and bulky. Just imagine, how could the low quality casing withstand the intense heat discharged by the high powered laser?
3. Cooling Methods:
The coherent and focused laser beam produces a lot of heat, so the cooling is the headache. For most laser pointers and handheld lasers at our website, the special air cooling method has also been adopted. It's not hard to know why some shoddy lasers are so easily heated unless you have to turn it off all the time. To leave it off from time to time is indeed advisable for lengthening the diode life, but what do we buy a laser for if we have to turn the laser off within 5 or 10 seconds after the laser is on? High-end lasers have better technology to release the accumulative heat easily. They can be turned on continously for 1 mins or even 3 mins. However, none of portable lasers in today's laser market are allowed to turned it on continously for >3 mins. For >3 mins use, it may not burn the diode within a short period of time, but if used often and frequently , it will put the diode in a high temperature environment, and thus will shorten the diode life.
4. Doubled crystals
Most genuine handheld lasers are consisted of a single glued crystal, whose stability and heat resistance is just ok when the output power is less than 200mw, while any higher power is likely to burn out the laser diode or other components. But most greedy laser producers still use it to make the laser reach 300mw, 500mw or even 700mw in power. It's doomed to be a pain in the ass. That's why many customers complain that their 300mw or 500mw lasers are even not as stable as their 30mw laser pointer.
Our portable lasers are all consisted of two combined crystal, which can easily guarantee the higher stability and heat resistance. This also costs a lot more while some of our resellers sell them at much higher price. But it's not to blame. At least the customers can get a high stability laser.
